By becoming the largest corporate supporter of AdoptAClassroom.org®, Subaru has helped provide much-needed supplies to more than 950,000 students and teachers across the United States. This means classrooms that were once under-resourced now have the tools they need to thrive, whether that’s something as simple as paper and crayons or as vital as science kits and math manipulatives.
With 92% of teachers reporting that they personally pay for school supplies out of pocket, Subaru’s support eases that financial strain and allows educators to focus on what they do best—teaching and inspiring the next generation. While Subaru Loves Learning makes a difference nationwide, here at Lee’s Summit Subaru we’re proud to bring that same commitment to our own community. One way we do that is by partnering with Meadow Lane Elementary, a local school here in Lee’s Summit. Did you know educators spend an average of $750 of their own money each year on classroom supplies? That’s just one of the reasons why we are so excited to support Meadow Lane. By providing school supply kits directly to students, we’re helping them start the year prepared for success—while also helping teachers save on out-of-pocket expenses.
But our efforts don’t stop with supplies. We also celebrated the teachers with a special appreciation lunch, offering them a chance to relax, connect, and feel valued before diving into another busy school year. It is our honor to show our gratitude for everything they do to inspire and lead the next generation.
