Lee's Summit Subaru is a family-owned new car dealer in Kansas City. Our families live, play, and work in Lee's Summit, and that's why we understand the value of being a part of the community. After all, the success of any business requires every member of the team work together. At Lee's Summit Subaru we know that being part of a community is a lot like being a member of a team, which is why all of our team members love to give back to the community every time we get the chance!
Giving Back to the Community by Supporting Fine Charities and Programs
As a premier Subaru dealership in Lee's Summit, we enjoy giving back to the community-and helping others to give back, by supporting local charities and programs. Our Subaru Loves Learning programs help to collect school supplies for kids and teachers via our Stuff the Subaru events, and we're currently working on promotions to support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to help local cancer patients undergoing treatment at Lee's Summit Medical Center.
In May, Lee's Summit Subaru hosted an in-store pet adoption event in collaboration with Midwest Animal ResQ, Raintree Animal Health Center, and Pete & Mac's Pet Resort. Besides offering great giveaways, treats for humans and pets, and free credit repair memberships, Lee's Summit Subaru helped raise money for pets by matching all adoption fees during the event. We also regularly give to causes like Meals on Wheels, Butterfly Heroes, and Share the Love, where we donate to Hillcrest Transitional Housing every year, to name a few.
Annual "Shop with a Cop" Campaign
At Lee's Summit Subaru, we're proud to support the annual "Shop with a Cop" campaign, which helps build strong community bonds by pairing Lee's Summit Police Officers with teacher-selected children from local schools. The officers take the kids to Wal-Mart to shop for Christmas gifts, helping each child make sure that they get something for everyone in their family, and also providing them a little gentle encouragement to get something for themselves while they're at it.
Afterward, the Officers take the kids back to Police Headquarters in Lee's Summit to wrap the presents with the help of Police Department employees and volunteers from the community. The kids also get to meet Santa and eat dinner with the Officers and volunteers. Once everyone has had a full meal, the kids are either picked up by their parent or parents, or the Officers take them back home and help deliver some Christmas cheer to their families!
